Our Take
Our Take
Kate Bush's "Aerial" has always been a bit of an enigma in the world of music. Released back in 2005, it was Bush's first album in over 12 years, and boy, did she make us wait. But now, in 2018, we are graced with a remastered version of this iconic album, and let me tell you, it's like hearing it for the first time all over again.
From the opening track "King of the Mountain," you are transported into Kate's magical world of whimsy and wonder. Her lyrical prowess is on full display here, as she weaves intricate tales of love, loss, and everything in between. And let's not forget about her vocal range - I swear this woman could hit a note higher than Mariah Carey on helium.
The real standout on this album, though, has to be the second disc, titled "A Sky of Honey." This symphonic piece takes you on a journey through the day, from dawn till dusk, and it's truly a breathtaking experience. It's like you're watching a painting come to life before your very eyes.
Overall, the remaster of "Aerial" is a must-listen for any Kate Bush fan, old or new. It's a masterpiece that stands the test of time, and I can't recommend it enough. So go ahead, grab a cup of tea, light a candle, and let Kate transport you to her magical world. You won't regret it.
