Our Take
Our Take
CHAS & DAVE's latest offering, "A Little Bit Of Us", is a delightful romp through the duo's signature blend of cockney charm and toe-tapping tunes. From the moment you press play, you're transported to a world where the pub is always open, the pints never run dry, and the banter flows as freely as the music.
With their trademark blend of rock, skiffle, and good old-fashioned fun, CHAS & DAVE deliver an album that is as comforting as a warm pint on a cold night. Tracks like "When Two Worlds Collide" and "It's Just a Matter of Time" showcase the duo's knack for penning catchy, heartfelt tunes that stick in your head long after the music has faded.
But it's not all sunshine and pints of ale on "A Little Bit Of Us". CHAS & DAVE aren't afraid to tackle heavier themes, such as loss and longing, on tracks like "My Mammy" and "A Little Bit Of Me". The result is a well-rounded album that offers something for everyone, whether you're looking to dance the night away or have a good old-fashioned cry into your pint.
So grab a pint, settle in, and let CHAS & DAVE take you on a musical journey that's equal parts cheeky and heartwarming. "A Little Bit Of Us" is a reminder that, sometimes, all you need is a bit of good music and good company to make everything alright. Cheers to that!

About the artist
Chas and Dave
Ah, Chas & Dave. The cheeky cockney duo that brought a touch of East End charm to the world of music. With their signature blend of rock, pub, and cockernee, they were a force to be reckoned with in the 80s and beyond. Chas Hodges, with his distinctive voice and piano skills, and Dave Peacock, with his rock-solid bass lines, created a sound that was uniquely theirs. From their early hits like "Rabbit" and "Gertcha" to later tracks such as "Ain't No Pleasing You," they proved that they could tackle any genre with their own special twist. But what really set Chas & Dave apart was their live performances. Their shows were a rollicking good time, with sing-along classics that had the whole crowd on their feet. Whether they were playing in a sweaty pub or a massive arena, Chas & Dave knew how to get the party started. Sadly, Chas passed away in 2018, leaving a gaping hole in the music world. But Dave has continued to keep the spirit of Chas & Dave alive, performing their hits to adoring fans around the world. So if you're in the mood for a bit of old-school British fun, look no further than Chas & Dave. Their music may be simple, but it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. So grab a pint, put on your dancing shoes, and get ready to have a knees-up with Chas & Dave. They may be gone, but their music will always live on.
