A true pioneer of the folk music scene, Elliot has been serenading audiences with his soulful, weathered voice and intricate fingerpicking for over half a century. Born Elliott Charles Adnopoz in Brooklyn, New York, in 1931, he adopted the moniker "Ramblin' Jack" as a nod to the itinerant lifestyle he led as a young man, travelling around the country and absorbing the sounds of different regions. Elliot's music is steeped in the rich traditions of American folk and blues, yet he brings a unique twist to each song with his distinctive vocal delivery and masterful guitar work. His performances are a masterclass in storytelling, with each song painting a vivid picture of life on the road, love gained and lost, and the trials and tribulations of the human experience.
