Our Take

Ah, Jenkins, Randall, Thompson - a trio of names that sound more like a stuffy law firm than a musical powerhouse. But don't let that fool you, because this Us Army Band and Chorus album is anything but dry and boring.

From the moment the opening track blasts through your speakers, you can tell that these guys mean business. The brass section is tight, the percussion is on point, and the vocals soar to dizzying heights. It's like a military parade of sound, marching straight into your ears and demanding your attention.

But don't let the militaristic vibes scare you off - there's plenty of fun to be had here. Tracks like "Marching Along" and "Sargent Major of the Army" are full of energy and spirit, making it impossible not to tap your toes along.

However, not every track hits the mark. Some of the slower, more sombre numbers can feel a bit like being stuck in a never-ending queue at the DMV. But hey, nobody's perfect.
